Eli Horton

Eli Horton is a Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research (CGSR) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His current research focuses on U.S.-Russia strategic arms control and prospective agreements during geopolitical crises.

Eli is a Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies M.A. student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey where he has worked as a graduate research assistant at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies and the Center on Terrorism, Extremism and Counterterrorism. He was a Conflict Transformation Cohort Fellow at the Middlebury Institute where he began his research on U.S.-Russia arms control. Eli is also participating in the Mansfield Next Generation of U.S.-Japan Nuclear Policy Experts training program researching nuclear risk reduction between the United States, Japan, and China.
